Too Long

Too long have I languished
Waiting for word
Waiting for my fur to be ruffled
Once more

Too long has it been
Since the PUdee was here
Since I served as warming winter wear
Wrapped around

Too long have I waited
No more

But alas there is only
One PUdee for me
And so I continue to abide here
Lying patiently
